Weekly Update March 4-March 10

Congratulations to Caleb, Nelson, Adam, John, Rebecca, Sophia, Leah, Cameron and Isaiah on qualifying and racing at the BC Short Track Championships in Prince George this past weekend.

Please note that there will be no practice on the following date:

Upcoming Meets:

ILSS Mini-Meet #2: March 14, 2019

ALL skaters are registered. Skaters that ARE NOT going to race in the competition must advise Karen so that she can remove their names from the list.

Pre-mini meet games at 5pm:

Parents will have to sign up for the 5:00PM games etc on March 14th by Wednesday March 6th.
Skill Testing – we are trying to get all the skaters tested for their skills and we don’t have many practices left, only March 4, 7 & 11.

Please note that ALL SKATES belonging to the club MUST be dropped off immediately after the mini-meet. If your skater will NOT be racing at the mini-meet, please drop off the skates with Shawn or Jodi in the equipment room immediately following your skater’s final practice. 

We will be conducting skate fitting sessions before the start of the summer season, an email will be sent out at a later date.

Hot Dog Sale:

Need volunteers for the Hot Dog sale at the Home Hardware at 9:30 on March 9th. Please see Gail to sign up!

Krispy Kreme:

We will be selling Krispy creme donuts at Walmart on March 16, 2019. We will start at 8:30 am and run till 3 pm or till they are all sold. We have 300 dozen of the original and 40 of the variety. $12.00 a box for the original, $14.00 a box for the variety. Volunteers will be needed to help out for two hour blocks of time and we need 4 people at each block or more if they want to come and sell. Please see Kevin at practice to sign up.
