Well, we had one fantastic weekend of skating with friends from all over the province! A huge thank you to all of the skaters, coaches and parents for helping to make Speedy Weekend a great one.
Coach Sandi, Sylvie and Sophia are travelling to Oberstdorf, Germany this week to attend the Oberstdorf shorttrack summer camp. This summer camp includes daily ice sessions, a mountain run, an inline triathlon and a short track competition. We wish them luck and look forward to photos and updates!
Our skaters have been busy with skating camps this summer! Isaiah, Cameron and Rebecca have just returned from a week long Nagano Speed 
Skating Camp in Moncton, New Brunswick. The week before that they attended the Calgary Oval Summer Camp along with Sophia and Jacob!
Here is this week’s schedule:
Inline: Monday evening – meet at McArthur Island equipment room by 5:45pm
Dryland: Wednesday (at the Kamloops School of the Arts field)
6pm for younger skaters, 6:30pm for middle/older skaters
Thursday 6pm: Inline skating (for older skaters)
Please note that inline will be cancelled for August 5th due to the statutory holiday!
Fort St John Long Track Camp: 
August 19-23 with racing on the 24th. For more information: Fort St John Elks Summer Camp
