We have a large number of Girl Guides coming to try speed skating on January 22. In order to accommodate this, the schedule will be changed as follows:
Coyote Cup:
Hospitality! We are in desperate need of someone to Coordinate the Hospitality. This involves doing an inventory of existing supplies ie: plates; coffee etc. purchasing food and supplies the day before and delivering to arena, and finding 1 or 2 volunteers to help throughout the day. It is our responsibility to feed the Officials and Volunteers who volunteer at the competition, as all these positions are filled on a volunteer basis. This is a very important position. Please email cbdougan@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out.

Other:
As part of an initiative on behalf of Sun Peaks to showcase the different sports of the Winter Olympics, our club will be doing a demonstration at the outdoor rink at Sun Peaks on February 17 from 5:00-5:30 pm.
We are looking for skaters to come out and skate a few safe races. This will be a fun event event which will be followed by Public Skating until 7:00pm.
This event will be coordinated by Coach Tyler and Jodi. Please see them if you have any questions or if your skater is interested in attending this event!

Do you have a skinsuit with a hole or need a zipper repaired? Gail will be picking up skinsuits on Mondays and bringing them to Carla’s Alterations. Please see Gail at practice if you are interested!
