Here is the first of the weekly updates for the 2019-2020 season where you will find important information such as practice times, skate fittings, upcoming competitions, fundraisers and more!
The next skate fitting session will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at McArthur Island. This will be for any skater that did not get skates fitted this summer or have already outgrown their skates. Also, if a Coach has spoken with your skater about getting longer blades, this session is for you, too! Please rsvp at kamloopslongblades@gmail.com.

Also, if your skater is a Blade Buddy or a Fast Friend, please attend the skate fitting session on September 5th (6:00 -7: 00 pm) OR September 9th between 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

Our first practice of the regular season will be Monday, September 9th at McArthur Island. Please note the practice times for your skater:
Blade Buddies: Thursdays 4:00-4:45 pm
Fast Friends: Thursdays 4:45-5:30 pm
Cheetahs: Monday 6:30-7:30 pm & Thursday 6:00-7:00 pm
Roadrunners: Monday & Thursday 7:00-8:00 pm
Coyotes: Monday & Thursday 7:00-8:00 pm
Garter Snakes: Three nights a week (Monday and Thursday from 8:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday or Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 pm)
Rattlesnakes: Monday & Thursday 8:00-9:00 pm/Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30-9:00 pm
Prickly Pears: Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30-9:00 pm
Fundraising is vital to our program. In order to ensure that we continue to offer a high-quality
program, the Kamloops Long Blades has adopted the following fundraising model: KLB Fundraising Agreement 2019-2020
Our first fundraising event will be a Krispy Kreme donut sale on Saturday September 14 at Walmart. We need 16 people in total, beginning at 9 am (4 people for each 2 hour block) Please contact Kevin at kdjbeesley@gmail.com if you wish to participate.
